When traveling to China for studying MBBS, we recommend you not to carry lots of clothes, quilts and cooking utensils, as these are readily available in China. You should instead focus on carrying the things difficult to find in China, such as Pulses (Daal), Pickles (Achaar), Spices (Masala), etc. For the convenience of your journey, it is also recommended to carry a bar of soap, face towel, travel toothpaste and toothbrush & pocket tissue paper.

Getting used to life in China
Living in China has its own set of rules. As an international student traveling to China you need to know that Google, Facebook and Whatsapp are inaccessible in China, so you either need to have a VPN or get used to using Baidu, Wechat and Alipay. Usage of cash in everyday life has almost diminished and payments are usually carried out using Wechat or Alipay.
